Herschel 'Boiler' Pickett boiling

Having stalked the sidelines of the Deep South since before facemasks were legally mandated, Herschel "Boiler" Pickett remembers when SEC road trips required actual mule teams and grain sacks. A stone-faced survivor of eight distinct conference expansions, Boiler views modern college football with the weary disdain of a decorated military strategist. He approaches every modern spread offense, pre-snap motion, and shotgun snap not merely as a flawed tactical choice, but as an explicit, high-treasonous insult to the military doctrine of General Douglas MacArthur and the brave men who pushed the pile in 1941.
